It was an egg-cellent time for children and families at Living in Triumph’s 3rd annual Easter Egg Hunt at August Horst Park in Navasota. The event co-hosted by the City of Navasota featured Easter fun including an egg hunt, photos with the Easter Bunny, refreshments and more.

Chucky was finally confirmed on Palm Sunday. The four confirmands were Julia Trullinger, Ethan Mikulin, Spencer Ellis and Chucky. They did a great job and there was a very good attendance. Sadly, since that first Child Abuse Prevention Month, the number of abused victims has grown from half a million children to over 6 million new reports of abuse along with 1,600 child abuse related deaths annually. Over 200,000 children in Texas are reported as abused or neglected every year. One is too many.
