I am not sure why so many people are in such a hurry to reach their destination. It wouldn’t surprise me if that was the main reason for all the wrecks on Highway 105. Highway 6 is not much better. The safety lane for entry on Hwy. 6 from FM 2988 is supposed to assist with safe driving. On my way home one day, a person turned right onto 6 from 2988 but not in the safety lane, all the way to the left lane.

Keith Civic Club met March 28 with a small number of members and visitors present. The covered dish meal was enjoyed by all. There was a variety of business discussed and acted on. The club will have a garage sale Saturday, April 27. Booths are available for lease for $25.

I could write a column or two about Kaylee Morgan’s irresponsible behavior as a Navasota Public Library cardholder but I’m not. What has my goat today is that KBTX seems to prefer following the drama this misguided woman created for herself while Grimes County has real news of even greater consequence to more people.
