The Band Reeves Brothers, Jeremy and Cody, and two of Jeremy’s children, Ryker and Revalie, led the service. Cody brought an inspiring message. They also had music and other items for sale. The church was filled with members and visitors. A barbecue meal was served after service. Everyone had a wonderful time.

Read moreAnderson-Shiro Education Foundation’s annual dinner fundraiser is Saturday, Sept. 21 at the St. Stanislaus Parish Hall in Anderson. The theme this year is “Denim and Diamonds.” Social hour begins at 6 p.m. with an open bar and charcuterie board snacks. Dinner will be catered by Bexar Barbecue and includes smoked Angus brisket, smoked turkey breast, homemade sausage, pinto beans, hot potato salad and a mixed green salad. Mary Lavender will provide the desserts.
