Washington, DC lawmakers got a reminder that the proposed high speed rail project between Houston and Dallas may be forgotten, but it’s not gone yet. While in Washington Feb. 8-12 for the National Association of Regional Councils (NARC) conference, Grimes County Judge Joe Fauth, III, and other regional officials met individually with congressmen on Capitol Hill to ask them not to support federal funding for the project.
