Members of the Grimes County delegation attended Senator Lois Kolkhorst’s Ice Cream Social at the Republican Party State Convention in San Antonio, May 23-25.
Grimes County Retired School Personnel Association made their final delivery stop at Brule Elementary in Navasota for their annual children’s book project. The mission is to give books to each child in Pre-K classes throughout Grimes County. Books were purchased with donations.This year each child received two books. Many Grimes County Pre-K students don’t own books. Books are carefully screened before distribution. Donations to the annual GCRSPA Children’s Book Project are welcome. Landry graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management. Savage earned a spot on the San Angelo Dean’s List for the spring semester. Dean’s list students must maintain a minimum of a 3.25 GPA. She is majoring in communications.
