Grimes County Retired School Personnel Association made their final delivery stop at Brule Elementary in Navasota for their annual children’s book project. The mission is to give books to each child in Pre-K classes throughout Grimes County. Books were purchased with donations.This year each child received two books. Many Grimes County Pre-K students don’t own books. Books are carefully screened before distribution. Donations to the annual GCRSPA Children’s Book Project are welcome. The Anderson–Shiro Owl signed his National Letter of Intent May 24 to play football for the Millsap College Rangers. Owl head coach Brad Hodges said Goodwin is great athletically, academically and has great character.

Landry graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management. Savage earned a spot on the San Angelo Dean’s List for the spring semester. Dean’s list students must maintain a minimum of a 3.25 GPA. She is majoring in communications.
