Preston and Brittany Goode, who both work for Grimes County Sheriff’s Office adopted their children several years ago. Their son Gabriel has battled cancer, and their daughter Sylvia needs ear surgery to improve her hearing. VFW Auxiliary member, Georgia Molitor, presented the family with the check.
