The Plantersville-Stoneham Bunch will hold their annual 20 Guns for $20 at the Grimes County Expo Center, Thursday, Nov. 21, at 6 p.m. Events include a ribeye steak dinner for $25, auction, bucket drawings and gun raffle. White Hall Grocery, White Hall Café and White Hall Community VFD all participated in the fun. Read moreOct. 25 and 26 are sad days for my family because my parents passed away those days, 16 years apart. But Friday, my spirits were high because I had visitors from Puerto Rico. Both are named Jose, and they were joined by family. I met Jose (Tito) when he applied to TAMU. We lost his admissions application but eventually found it and have been friends since. The laughter, hugs, smiles and memories made my entire weekend.
