St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Plantersville is hosting their annual rummage sale Saturday, Nov. 2, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Early bird shoppers can shop between 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. for $10 cash. Admission is free after 9 a.m. Over 1,000 families have contributed items including clothes, shoes, handbags, furniture. linens, crafts, appliances, and much more.

Read moreI know this was a Washington and Burleson County game played in College Station, but it was nerve-wracking for sure. Burton has a new football stadium but for some reason could not play there, so the game was at Brazos Christian Academy. It was an awesome game with Somerville winning, 42-41, in overtime. It was a good feeling to see those boys and coaches celebrating. This is the first time since 2006 that they beat Burton.
