Evergreen Baptist Church fish fry and silent auction April 15 was certainly a success. The event brought out a good number of people from the area. There was lots of good fish with all the trimmings and desserts. Great items were also auctioned. Approximately $8,000 was raised to help youth of Evergreen go to summer camp. Thanks to all that participated in any way.

The rain was good for pastures and ponds, but the ruts someone made in my pasture are not welcomed. If it was an accident, I would have appreciated them coming by to tell me and offer to repair the deep holes. However, that did not happen.

Evergreen Baptist Church was filled with an overflow crowd of members and visitors. There were over 100 in attendance. A time of fellowship before the morning worship service included a meal with breakfast tacos, donuts and juice.
