It’s getting harder and harder to be nice these days. People are just ready to be done with this Covid-19 situation. Our lives have changed so much in everyday living. Whoever thought you would have a doctor’s appointment via zoom? It saddens me to even think about school starting – will it be in a normal way or not? It is so healthy for people to interact with each other – especially children. They need that time to make lifelong friends, play and wrestle on the playground, have lunch and conversations together, classroom discipline, and most of all, a structured routine. Actually, we all need that! To heck with Facetime – I need the real person in front of me. And these masks – they are the end of me – I can’t breathe! I need to breathe fresh air – it’s hard to even smell the roses. What’s this world coming to?

Torilis arvensis, hedge parsley, can be found in much of the U.S. It is common in Texas, often mixed in with grasses along a roadside or on the edge of a field. The plant can get up to 3 feet tall on a stem with fine white hairs. The feathery leaves are alternate and pinnately compound with toothed leaflets.
