There was lots of good food including pecan pie and other desserts. The food and desserts were enjoyed by all present. The pecan pie was especially enjoyed since none was left.

That surely will raise the violence, killing, etc. in The State. Everyone would be carrying, and the police will have a harder time protecting and serving. That means the mentally ill, foreigners coming in etc. will be able to carry. God forbid that law.

Read moreThe Sunrise Service for area churches held at the Zion Cemetery in Iola Sunday, April 4, was well attended with 67 people attending. The speaker was Zion Methodist Church Pastor, Rev. Charles Ray. Another church member, Kathie Wendt, led the singing. Everyone had a wonderful time. Following the service breakfast tacos were served at Iola Missionary Baptist Church, provided by Evergreen Baptist Church.
