Debra was born on January 22, 1951 in Hamburg, Iowa to her loving parents, Harold “Harry” Raymond and Dorothy “Dottie” Diantha Christopher Wyatt. Her parents moved her and her older brother, Christopher Wyatt, to Texas shortly after her birth. Debra graduated from North Shore High School and a couple months later on July 18, 1969 married N.B. White. Together they had three beautiful children, Kim, D.J., and Will, who not only called her Mom, but also their best friend.
While raising her three kids, she pursued a college education and graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1983 with a degree in Accounting. That following year, she and her family moved to Navasota, Texas. In 1988, she started her own accounting company and then in 1990 became the Auditor for Grimes County. In 2004, she married the love of her life, Albin Finke, and spent 15 wonderful years with the man that had her from “Hello”. With her exceptional business skills she became a franchisee of H&R Block in 2009. She then retired to take care of her husband and spend time with her grandchildren.
Debra was a strong, kind-hearted woman who put the needs of others before her own. She became her husband’s caretaker in his last few years. Through sickness and in health, she showed devotion, never leaving his side. She loved him when he needed it most, being an undeniably great wife and partner. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, western movies and television shows, cooking and spending time with her dogs. Debra adored her ten grandchildren and great granddaughter, always leaving her door open to them. She always had an ear to lend to her grandchildren who cared for her deeply. She enjoyed watching them grow up and filled her home with pictures of her beloved family.
