Calling all Rattlers!

The 2022 Navasota Rattler football season is within striking distance. Any player (9-12 grade) wanting to play football must attend two-adays.

Rattler two-a-days begin Monday, Aug. 1, at 7 a.m. Players are expected to arrive by 6:30 a.m. and be ready to begin practice at 7 a.m.

Navasota’s first scrimmage of the season is Aug. 12 against Giddings.

Lady Rattler Volleyball

Tryouts for the Navasota Lady Rattler volleyball team are Aug. 1-2 at Navasota High school. Players in 9-12th grade are expected tocheck-in at 6:45 a.m. with tryouts 7:30 - 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. both days.

The first session (7:30- 9:30 a.m.) will focus on conditioning. Attendees will report to the track and are asked to bring running shoes and water. Session two (1:30-4:30 p.m.) will include volleyball drills. Players will report to the main gym and need to bring volleyball equipment including knee pads, shoe and appropriate volleyball attire.

Team practices begin Wednesday, Aug. 3, and there will be a parent meeting Thursday, Aug. 4, in the Navasota High School Library beginning at 6 p.m.
