The Navasota City Council held a Regular Meeting Monday, Sept. 28, and approved a request for the demolition of a substandard structure at 1224 W. Washington within 30 days. According to Code Enforcement Specialist Erik Covarrubias, both the dwelling and garage have significant termite damage and there is evidence of squatting.
