Don graduated from Freedom High School and married his high school sweetheart, Chris, on March 30, 1973. They would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on, March 30, 2023. Robert Earl Griffin, Sr, age 77, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 21, 2022. He was born June 4, 1945, in Quanah, TX to David and Jessie Griffin. He proudly served in the United States Navy for 20 years, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer. During that time, he served two tours in Vietnam with the Mobile Riverine Forces.
