On May 6, 2023, Victalia Velasquez peacefully passed away, earning her angelic wings, at her home in Navasota, Texas. She was 64 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents, Santiago and Juanita Gonzalez; two siblings, Mary and Pablo. Victalia is survived by her beloved husband, Fredy Velasquez; children, Venessa (David +), Gilbert (Vicki), David (Sarah), Crystal (Lynzee), Damien and Kayla (Anthony); grandchildren, Ocean, Dante, Michael, Maddi, Raphael, Elise, Mila, Natalia, and Theadora; as well as several brothers and sisters and their families.

Lyle was born September 18, 1935 in Windsor, Ontario Canada to Gordon and Stella Symons. Lyle, with his family in tow, ventured to the U.S. to continue honing his craft in the forging industry, first in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, then to College Station, Texas in 1973 to become Plant Manager at Interstate Southwest Forge (now known as Elwood) for 31 plus years. Lyle was a trusted manager, friend, and devoted father. Through his hard work and dedication to his family, he made the legacy of five generations of fun-loving, hard-working people.
