Read moreReconvening from Executive Session as permitted by Section 551.074, Texas Government Code, Personnel Matters, the Navasota City Council authorized Mayor Bert Miller to finalize negotiations and execute an employment contract with Robert Hemminger to serve as Navasota’s next city manager. Following the action taken at the April 14 Regular Meeting, Miller told the Examiner their hope is to bring Hemminger on board before the next council meeting April 28.
