Navasota senior goalie Juan Vargas will continue deflecting shot attempts at the next level. Vargas signed his National Letter of Intent May 21 to continue his academic and soccer career at McPherson College in Kansas. Vargas helped lead Navasota to the UIL 4A State Semifinals. He was selected to the all-region team and represented the Rattlers at the TASCO All Star Game. He is the son of Juan and Eloisa Vargas.

Many Grimes County Pre-K students don’t own books. Books are carefully screened before distribution. Donations to the annual GCRSPA Children’s Book Project are welcome.
