If the young girls represent 100% of the violations, then any reasonable person would conclude they are the ones to address in a special assembly. Ms. Ramsey’s firm stand is to be applauded. It is high time for the adults in the room to reclaim control over our schools.

Read moreThe subject Bi-Weekly column by Johnny McNally was a surprise to many readers that the Navasota Examiner would print such hate filled, opinionated trivia. Much of it was at best half-truths or worst. Sadly, as head of the local Chamber of Commerce and a Columnist for our local paper Mr. Mc- Nally does have a bully pulpit to poison the well.
Read moreHaving been in the retail business in Navasota for most of my life, I am very confused about the of the page picture – Chamber welcomes Costco – in the Aug. 10th paper. Why are members of the Grimes County Chamber, Navasota City Manager, a City Councilman so eagerly supporting a business that will pay NO city, county or (possibly a very small portion of) school taxes in Navasota or Grimes County. Costco will pay NO city sales tax in Grimes County but will be taking away from local retail stores that do.
