We didn’t finish the Spider Man puzzle that day, but I may wait until we complete it. I think he enjoys challenging me but at times he does tell me “Good Job”!

Read moreThis has been a week to remember. I am blessed because I was only out of power around 31 hours and the only damage were limbs and leaves all over the yard. Some of my neighbors were not so lucky. They had downed trees and damages to their homes and other property. I hope everyone’s power has been restored now as temperatures rise.
Read moreDagan Alford, son of Daryl and Mandi Alford, graduated from Anderson–Shiro in May. He has served as a volunteer fire fighter for Anderson VFD. This sparked his interest in becoming an EMT. On June 24, he started taking an EMT course at TEEX in College Station. The course is 8 weeks long. He will graduate Aug. 29. The course includes classroom hours as well as Emergency Room and ambulance hours.
