Read moreWe had a brief but productive interview with Grimes County DA Investigator, John Wren, a few weeks ago regarding the Anthony Williams case. A couple of weeks ago my wife, Sandra Woodruff, was receiving persistent phone calls from one of those “you have won a lottery” scammers, and they would not let her go or stop the phone calls. I suggested that Sandra talk to Mr. Wren for some advice on how to deal with the unwanted contacts, and Mr. Wren was so gracious to take the few minutes to reassure her on how to deal with the pressing phone calls. Mr. Wren’s patient and calm reassurance was a great relief and help and we thank him, and the GCDA’s office for his time and good efforts.
