Grimes County 4-H is having a one-day camp July 8, at the Grimes County Extension office, 205 Veterans Memorial Drive in Navasota from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. Camp is for ages 5-18 and is $10 per child. Any resident of Grimes County will be served and will only need to show their driver’s license when they complete the once-a-year Client Assistant Intake form. Read moreThe big news this week is Iola High School graduation that took place May 27, in the gym with a full crowd seniors and others. There were 35 seniors present who definitely had a good time. A few days before, a baccalaureate service was held at Cross Baptist Church with 22 seniors present as well. Bibles were given to each graduate and refreshments were served at the service.
