Friday night stabbing

Grimes County Sherriff Deputies responded to a stabbing near County Road 452 Friday night, July 23.

Grimes County Sheriff Investigator Blake Baldobino stated just before 10 p.m., officers were dispatched to the residence off of CR 452. A male victim with a stab wound was transported to the hospital.

Baldobino stated they have a suspect identified but he has not been apprehended. His identity is being withheld. Baldobino said this is an isolated incident and the public is in no danger.

According to Grimes County Investigators the victim was treated and released from the hospital.
