BILLY RAY (BILL) BOEHM 1940 – 2025

Billy Ray (Bill) Boehm of Anderson, Texas passed away from this life on Saturday, July 19, 2025. Bill was born on August 19, 1940, to Gus and Sophie Miller Boehm. He was the youngest of eleven children.  

Visitation with family and friends was held Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at Nobles Funeral Chapel from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service immediately following at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1530 Washington Avenue, Navasota, Texas. Interment will immediately follow in Zion Church Cemetery with Rev. Matthias Dinger officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel. 

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Boehm; daughter, Shelly Sellars; granddaughter, Maia Sellars; brothers-in-law, Glenn Schaffer and Fred Homeyer; sisters-in-law, Pauline Boehm and Joyce Boehm; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Bill is preceded in death by six sisters and spouses, Esther and Herbert Schaffer, Lucille and Jim Schaffer, Gertrude and Charles Hilley, Maeola and Bernard Roese, Erna and Hubert Hemann, and Ruth Homeyer; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Emmett Boehm and Edwina, Edward Boehm and Jean, Leonard Boehm and Gus Oris Boehm.
