We’re Back!

Superintendent’s Update

Much like Texas Longhorn quarterback Sam Eh-linger exclaimed after beating Georgia in the Sugar Bowl last year (sorry Ms. Nickle), “We’re baaaaack!”

However, unlike the Longhorns, we really are back! We’re back in school for our spring semester after our Christmas holiday break.

Even though there was a holiday break for classes, there were still many things happening at Navasota ISD during the holidays including Rattler and Lady Rattler basketball practices and games, roofers wrapping up the roof at Navasota High School, workers and trucks constantly in and out for construction during Phase 2 and lots of planning for the second semester.

We are excited about the outlook and the vision for Rattler Nation during 2020.

If you think about it, 2020 promises to be a great year to be a Rattler.

Phase 2 will conclude construction projects at Navasota High School and Navasota Jr. High in 2020.

Phase 3 and Phase 4 projects will begin in 2020.

Our athletic projects at the stadiums and courts will begin and most will be completed during 2020.

Another 171 students will graduate from Navasota High School and Bizzell Academy and begin their next journey during 2020.

And the list could go on and on...

We were excited to get back on campus and begin the memorable and historic year that 2020 will be for Navasota ISD. Stay tuned...
