Bulldogs prevail over Milano
IOLA- The Iola Bulldogs mounted a second half comeback to defeat the Milano Eagles 14-3 in pre-district action.
Iola (3-1) struggled to move the ball on the ground, but the passing game produced two touchdowns in the win.
After trailing to Milano by three at halftime, Blake Driver connected with Adam Crenshaw for a pair of second half scores. The duo connected in the third for an 8-yard touchdown and for a long 47-yard strike in the fourth quarter.
Driver finished 9-of-13 passing for 110 yards and an interception. Crenshaw caught three passes for 79 yards.
Colton Boullion was the Bulldogs top rusher with 22-yards on 10 carries.
