Grimes Health Resource Center Community Clothes Closet will have extended hours for back-to-school July 24 - July 26, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., July 31- 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Aug. 2 - 4-7 p.m., Aug. 7 – 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Regular hours are Mondays 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. They will close at 6 p.m. if extra hours are not utilized.

Men Making Moves Scholarship Foundation is hosting their Annual Backpack Give Away Aug. 25, beginning at 10 a.m. for students in Head Start-12th grade. Navasota High School students must be present to receive a backpack.

Macedonia Baptist Church will be selling fish dinners Friday, Sept. 15, in the old Pizza Hut parking lot, 501 S. LaSalle Street in Navasota from 10:30 a.m. 2 p.m. Dinners will include dessert and a drink for $15.
