DONNA EUGENIA EMMETTE 1951 – 2023

Donna Eugenia Emmette, 71 of Anderson, Texas was welcomed into the arms of our Precious Lord Jesus on June 28, 2023, with her son, Dennis Kevin Brown and her older sister, Carolyn Kimich by her side.

Donna was born on November 22, 1951, in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was the middle child of three sisters, they were called “The Twisted Sisters.” Donna had two children, a son, Dennis Kevin Brown and a daughter, Karie Michelle Brown, who she loved dearly.

Donna was a kind and loving soul with a free spirit. She had a great laugh and didn’t meet a stranger. As Donna was going through her treatment, it was no surprise that she was the one encouraging the others around her that were going through the same.

She was such a good cook and if you never had her homemade apple pie, you missed out! Donna was an avid reader, enjoyed quilting, and loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all, but we have peace knowing she is in the arms of Jesus, and we will see her again one day.

Donna is proceeded in death by her father, Donald Eugene Eastwood, her stepfather, Ralph Dick Spradlin, and her mother, Christine Spradlin.

Donna is survived by her children, son, Dennis Kevin Brown and wife, Stacy Brown, and daughter, Karie Michelle Brown; her grandchildren Hannah Thomas and husband Tyler, Grant Brown, and Faith Handrinos and great granddaughter, Hollyn Thomas; her sisters, Carolyn Kimich, Sheri Janowski, and husband James, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 5, 2023, at The Church at Creek’s End, 20010 Kuykendahl, Spring, TX 77379.
