HENRY “DOUGLAS” BOHOT, JR. 1988 – 2023

Henry Douglas Bohot, Jr., 34 of Navasota, passed away unexpectedly June 5, 2023, at his home from complications of Congestive Heart Failure. Visitation was Friday, June 9, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with services following directly after at 11:00 a.m., at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Reverend Jose Maldonado officiated. Services were entrusted to Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Douglas was born August 31, 1988 to Henry Douglas Bohot, Sr. and Beverly Cervantes in Galveston, Texas. He attended Navasota schools and graduated from Navasota High School in 2006. At the time of his death, he was the Assistant Manager at O’Reilly Auto Parts in Navasota. Douglas was liked by many of his customers and was known for always giving a helping hand and a smile.

Douglas is preceded in death by his father, Doug Bohot, Sr.; maternal grandmother, Pauline Cervantes; and infant sister, Mija.

He is survived by his very special companion, Mariela Garcia; his sons, Blayne Douglas and Weston Cash Bohot of Navasota; Mariela’s three children; Antony, Lily and Emily Garcia of Navasota; the mother of his sons, Jessica Bohot; his mother, Beverly (Greg) Valdez of Riesel, TX; brother, Albert Hernandez, III of Bryan; sister, Ashley Miles (Jessie) of Navasota; maternal grandfather, Domingo Cervantes, Sr. of Navasota; uncle, Joe (Laura) Cervantes; first cousins but more like sisters, Megan Cervantes and Sierra (Travis) Higginbotham of Navasota; along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
