Pair of Rattler sluggers playing at next level
A pair of Navasota Rattler baseball players are taking their talents to the college level. Dylan Bonnain and Kaleb Wisnoski have both found homes with college teams.
Bonnain will take the field for the Blinn Buccaneers in Bren-ham and Wisnoski will suit up for the Northeast Texas Community College Eagles in Mt. Pleasant.
Bonnain was a 26-4A First Team All-District corner infielder and was an All Brazos Valley second team selection. He batted .462 with a .576 on base percentage and a .750 slugging percentage. He drove in a team best 18 runs and hit two homeruns.
As a pitcher Bonnain posted a 1.34 earned run average and struck out 50 batters in 36.2 innings pitched.
Wisnoski batted leadoff for Navasota and had an on base percentage of .450. He also stole 10 bases for the Rattlers.
On the mound Wisnoski recorded 48.1 innings pitched with an ERA of 1.44 and struck out 52 batters.
Wisnoski was a 26-4A First Team All-District outfielder and made the All Brazos Valley second team.
