From chaos to thankfulness
Superintendent’s Update
When I was a kid, and even to this day, I remember the times that our family would sit down together to watch some of the classic holiday TV specials such as Charlie Brown or Disney.
Do you remember Snoopy?
The thing I remember about the Snoopy scenes is that there wasn’t any talking, no dialogue between he and Woodstock – just the background music and watching Snoopy and the pals get everything ready for the big event. It always involved tables collapsing, chairs being broken, and usually someone getting hurt. But then, when everything was done, when all of the “family” arrived and sat down at the table everything was perfect and all was right in the world.
I hope you have time this week to spend with family and friends. Sometimes it’s messy and chaotic, but it is always a blessing to be thankful for!
Happy Thanksgiving!
