KATHLEEN H. MOHR

Mrs. Kathleen H. Mohr, 81, of Washington, passed away Saturday, August 10, at her home. A memorial service was held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 17, at Nobles Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jack Faulkner presiding. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Kathleen was born on December 25, 1937 in Wren, Georgia to Elmer and Gladys (Owens) Hayes. She married Jerry Mohr in Missouri City, Texas on May 9, 1986. Kathleen worked for Blinn College until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her yard. Up until a few years ago, she loved road trips to estate sales, flea markets, antique shops and festivals. She was a lways on the hunt for a deal on a new “treasure”.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Mohr; step-daughter Susan York and her husband, Ronnie; sisters Cornelia Cain and Ruby English; seven nieces and two nephews.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Elmer Hayes, Jr., and Roy Hayes and sisters Mayme Pearl Dixon, Annete Warr and Louise Johnson.
