JEFFREY R. SHULTS 1980 – 2024

Jeffrey Ryan Shults, known affectionately as Jeff, passed away on November 8, 2024, at the age of 44, in Silver Springs, Maryland. Though his journey brought him many places, he made his home in San Antonio, Texas, where he was surrounded by friends and family who cherished him.

Born on July 25, 1980, in Houston, Texas, Jeff’s early life was blessed with the love and support of a close-knit family. Jeff's intelligence was apparent from a young age, guiding him through a life marked by curiosity and a passionate pursuit of knowledge. His adventurous spirit led him on many journeys, traveling all over the world, always eager to explore the unknown and embrace new experiences.

Jeff's generosity was boundless; he was ever ready to share his time, resources, and heart with those around him.

He leaves behind a family who cherished him deeply: his mother, Jamie Shults Noto and stepfather, Marcus Noto; his twin brother, Matt Shults; his sister, Stephanie Shults; and his treasured nieces, Hailey and Reeselyn, alongside his nephew, Austin, who will miss their uncle's playful spirit and endless encouragement Jeff's grandmothers, Joy Kilborn and Barbara Eldridge, will remember him as the grandson who brought so much joy into their lives. His extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins are left with fond memories of Jeff's laughter and light.

He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Shults Jr.; grandfathers, Terry Shults Sr., John Kilborn, and James Eldridge Sr.

As we bid farewell to Jeffrey, we celebrate a life lived to the fullest, a journey of meaningful connections, and a story that, though it has reached its conclusion, will continue to inspire all who remember him. Jeff's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

The family received guest Monday, November 25, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., at Castle Ridge Mortuary in San Antonio. A memorial service was held the same day from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services were entrusted to Castle Ridge Mortuary West in San Antonio.
