BESSIE LOPEZ

Bessie Lopez, 64, of Bryan, passed away Saturday, October 26, at CHI St. Lukes Hospital in Houston. Visitation with family and friends will be held Wednesday, October 30, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., with a rosary following at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 31, at Christ Our Light Catholic Church. Rev. Eli Lopez will be the celebrant. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Bessie was born in Hearne, Texas July 19, 1955 to Joe Lopez and Louisa Navarro. She had one daughter, Laura. Bessie enjoyed scrapbooking for family and current events, Tejano music, cooking and baking, decorating for every holiday, and horror movies. She loved getting together most mornings for coffee time with her sister, Yolanda.

Bessie is survived by daughter Laura Lopez; sisters and brother-in-law Nancy Lopez, Yolanda Lopez, and Rosie and Federico Rodriguez and grandchildren Jonathon, Vanessa and Jessica.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Rafael Magana, Patsy Martinez, Mary Hinojosa, Gloria Martinez and Joe Lopez, Jr.
