MOST WANTED arrested in Navasota
A Brazos County Crime Stoppers Most Wanted criminal, Jesse Cantu, was apprehended at a home in Navasota Wednesday, Jan. 19.
Brazos County Crime Stoppers issued a press release Jan. 11, to bring attention to Cantu, age 29, who had multiple warrants from various agencies. He was believed to be in the Millican, Bryan and Huntsville area and was known to be involved in narcotics.
Cantu was tracked to a home on Farm-to-Market Road 379 and West Virginia Street in Navasota. Texas Department of Public Safety Special Agents with the assistance of Troopers and Navasota Police Department arrested Cantu Wednesday, Jan. 19, without incident. He was charged with Possession of controlled substance penalty group 1 greater than 4 grams, less than 200 grams; possession of marijuana.
During the incident two other individuals were also arrested. Danxadrien McGee, age 26, was charged with Possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, and Richard Raspberry, age 27, charged with Evading arrest or detention; harassment of public servant; criminal trespass.
All three individuals were booked into Grimes County Jail.
