KidFish a reeling success

Examiner photos by Matthew Ybarra The 2019 KidFish sponsored by the city of Navasota, Noon Lions Club and in partnership with KidFish Foundation was a reeling success. Children of all ages and skill levels lined the banks of Patout Pond in anticipation of hooking the big one. Volunteers hoped to get kids hooked on fishing by teaching them fishing basics and allowing them the experience of catching fish. When lines weren’t in the water, children enjoyed hot dogs and sno cones.
