County celebrates Walker’s retirement

Grimes County Road & Bridge Engineer Harry Walker received the well-wishes of friends and fellow employees at a farewell reception Thursday, Sept. 28. 

Walker retired Sept. 30 after more than six years as head of Road & Bridge and as the longest serving road administrator since the County converted to the Unit system in early 2000. Flanking Walker (L-R) are Road & Bridge staff are Bobbie Burns, Pattie Ermis and Kinidi Moore.
