Confrontation leaves one dead
ANDERSON- Grimes County Law Enforcement are investigating a confrontation that left oneman dead in Anderson.
Grimes County Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance call on County Road 215, just south of Anderson, Saturday, March 14, at approximately 9:45 p.m. Officers initially determined
Officers initially determined there was a confrontation between Nathan Seeman and Zachary Ham. The confrontation ended with Ham shooting Seeman who was pronounced deceased on scene.
Grimes County Investigators are heading the investigation conducting interviews and collecting evidence from the scene. According to a press release Ham is cooperating with law enforcement. The release also says all statements and evidence will be presented to the Grimes County District Attorney’s Office for review relating to any potential criminal charges. The case will later be presented to a Grimes County Grand Jury.
Grimes County Sheriff Don Sowell stated this is an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public. Due to this being an ongoing investigation and to protect the integrity of the investigation, no further details are being released at this time.
