City honors 100 years of employee service

At the Dec. 9 Navasota city council meeting, nine employees were recognized for their years of service to the City of Navasota. Receiving awards for 20 years of service were Human Resources DirectorPeggy Johnson and NPD’s Aubrey Ellison followed by 15-year employee Ernest Meneffee in Utilities. Ten-year employees receiving awards were Utility staff Kenneth Nobles and Carl Pullen (not present) and Officer Christopher Watson. Recognized for five years of service were Administrative Assistant Kathrine Thogersen, Fire Fighter David Kearney and Officer Ethan Tyler.
