Iola hosts hitting camp
Cross Baptist Church will host vacation bible school Monday, July 29, through Friday, Aug. 2, from 6:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Bring your children for a fun-filled week discovering Jesus from Eternity’s Past to Eternity’s Future. Students from prekindergarten through sixth grade completed are invited to attend. Plan for your whole family to join us Friday night for food and fun.
Hitting camp will be July 15 and 16 at Iola High School. The hitting camp will be divided into two groups. The first group will be for incoming second-graders through incoming fifth-graders from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. The second group is for incoming sixth-graders through ninth-graders from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. This camp is for both boys and girls and will cost $30.
There are morning workouts for junior high and high school boys Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m.
