•St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church in Magnolia is holding a revival 7 p.m. nightly Wednesday, June 5, through Friday, June 7. •Missionary Camp Baptist Church, Pastor James Mable Sr. First Lady Mary Mable and Dr. James Mable Jr. present their 31st anniversary celebration. Pastor Charles Tompkins Jr. will bring the message Wednesday, June 5. Pastor Eric Williams ministers June 6. Pastor Jimmy Lawrence will minister June 7, and Minister Ervin Lee will conclude the services Sunday, June 9. Services begin nightly at 7 p.m. and on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. The church is located at 9429 CR 423 in Navasota.

•Pilgrim Point Baptist Church in Navasota and pastor Rickey and first lady Tracy Manning’s 24th anniversary., June 9, at 3 p.m. Rev. Jim Nelms and Greater New Hope will be the guest speaker and host church. Come worship and celebrate the goodness of the Lord.
•Macedonia Baptist Church and Rev. M. Otis Clark are hosting its annual Pastor Aid Program at 3:30 p.m. Special speaker and guest is Pastor Chris Moore and his congregation from Houston New Mt. •First Baptist Church in Richards is hosting The Arthur Sauls Christian Summer Camp Mondays through Wednesday from June 10 through July 17. Children are served breakfast and lunch each day. •Shiro Community Church is hosting “to Mars and beyond 2019” vacation bible school June 12-14, from 9 a.m. until noon.
June 16
•Father’s Day Explosion at the Bellville High School Auditorium, 850 Schumann Rd, Bellville. Taking the stage are Gospel Christenettes (Brenham), Original Soul Invader (Industry), Uncle Mack (Austin), Willing Workers (Huntsville), New Season (Houston) and special guest Veal Brothers (Gloster, Mississippi). The explosiogets underway at 4 p.m. A $10 donation for adults and $3 donation for children 8-18 will be collected at the door.
Sept. 23-27
•The Guardian Angels of St. Mary Plantersville is sponsoring a five-day/four-night trip to Biloxi and New Orleans from Sept. 23-27. The trip includes transportation, four nights at one hotel/ casino and most meals. Besides casinos, there are many other places to see on the agenda. •The Anderson Food Pantry has 2019 volunteer opportunities. Volunteers are needed from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. on the first and third Wednesdays of each month to unload food from the truck, move boxes, unpack boxes, stock shelves and prep bags.
