TRF final weekend Nov. 24 to 26

An Operation Blue Santa Raffle will be held Dec. 1. Help Navasota Police Department assist deserving children this holiday season by supporting Operation Blue Santa. Raffle tickets are $5 and may be purchased at Citizens State Bank.

The final weekend of the Texas Renaissance Festival is Nov. 24 to 26, a Celtic Christmas.

City of Navasota’s Home for the Holidays event is Saturday, Dec. 9. The festivities include a Farmers Market, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., photos with Santa, 1-5 p.m., children’s Christmas fun, 1-5 p.m., Christmas parade, 6 p.m. and the City Hall tree lighting after the parade.

The KBTX Food for Families Food Drive is Wednesday, Dec. 6. Donations will be accepted in Grimes County at Midsouth Electric in Navasota.

Historic Downtown Navasota presents their fourth annual holiday sip and shop Saturday, Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

The city of Plantersville’s annual Christmas Parade is Saturday, Dec. 2, at 10 a.m. Parade route begins at the Plantersville Stoneham Fire Department. The annual community Christmas party will follow.

Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Washington has Tutoring and Youth Empowerment Services to help children succeed in their studies. The tutoring is every Thursday from 6-7:15 p.m.
