It’s hard to believe Christmas is here and holiday parties and family gatherings have already begun. If you are traveling, please be safe. So many tragedies happen during this time of year.
It is so nice to see Main St. in Anderson come alive again. Several new businesses have opened and filled vacant buildings. Fifty-Seven Bloom Co., a florist and gift shop, opened up on Main St. a year or so ago; Winking Stars, located in the historic Apolonia Building at the corner of FM 1774 and Main St., is a fun, relaxing place for friends to gather and share a Mimoza or two. Chere’Davis Photography had its grand opening Friday. Chere’ is located in the Lovett Boggess building near the Courthouse. Please take a stroll down the street and check out all the new businesses.
Once again, we have lost some very dear loved ones this past year but cherish the family and friends we still have with us. Thank God for all the wonderful people in our lives. Wishing you and yours a very merry Christmas and a happy and healthy new year.
