A huge thank you to everyone who helped or supported the fundraiser Sunday for Tina Kott. People continued to come for several hours. As I was leaving, Tina told me she was overwhelmed and appreciated all the kindness and love she felt.

The Knights of Columbus Council #4054 congratulates the following for their significant contributions to recent activities: September Knight of the Month was Rick Atkinson and September Family of the Month was Matt and Christine Harris. On Friday, Oct. 13, Jessica Johnson became the bride of Eric Wise on a mountainside covered with snow in Crested Butte, Colorado, with immediate family and the wedding party in attendance. This was the most unique wedding, as the bride and groom chose to drive a scenic loop and stopped when they found the spot. In true Johnson fashion, when something is planned, the weather changes things. Due to what locals called an unusual snowstorm that came through the area the day before the wedding, they didn’t get to drive the entire loop, but the spot they chose was perfect. As the caravan stopped, everyone piled out of their vehicles, with chairs in hand, to make an aisle for the happy couple to walk down. The ceremony was conducted by Cody Wise, brother of the groom. The newlyweds then walked back down the aisle amidst bubbles and some unexpected snowballs. A reception was held in their honor once they arrived back home. Jessica is the daughter of Dennis and Pam Johnson of Anderson. Eric is the son of Glenn and Cathey Wise of Arlington. The couple will make their home in Anderson.
