4-H Pecan sales are here
It’s that time of year for the 4-H pecan sale, and just in time because I used my last bag of pecan pieces. If you have purchased these pecans in the past, you will never buy them in the store again. They are the best. There are various options including pecan halves, pecan pieces, praline pecans, frosted pecan assortment, mild chocolate assortment, chocolate pecans, cinnamon pecans, walnuts, pistachios, raw Spanish peanuts, chocolate peanuts, trail mix, roasted salted peanuts, hot and spicy Cajun peanuts and honey toasted peanuts.
There is something for everyone’s taste buds. My fourth-grade grandson, Luke Waitz, is selling them so if you need to place an order, call his mom Brandi Waitz, 936-537-6488 or call me, 936870-6842. Of course, you can order them from any 4-H member or by calling the extension office, 936-873-3907. Deadline to order is Oct. 3.
