Richards VFD fundraiser Saturday

According to the Face-book page of Richards VFD, there was a house fire on 1486 toward Dacus near the county line. No one was home at the time and no injuries were reported.

The home was fully engulfed in flames. A neighbor called in to the fire department. Richards, Montgomery, Anderson, and Shiro responded as well as other emergency personnel including the Stoneham area. There was another fire reported earlier in the week, a grass fire was down Bays Chapel Road.

As you see we never know when we might need the fire department so come out and support the Richards VFD during their biggest fundraiser of the year Saturday, Nov. 2, at the station. They will sell barbeque and have a gun raffle.

The fire department also has big plans this year for a Christmas Parade. More information about this will be released next week.
