Lady Owls took flight for another pair of wins to remain perfect in District 23-3A. They defeated Trinity, 64-18, and Coldspring-Oakhurst, 70-32. No. 22 Anderson-Shiro (19-4, 9-0) pounced the Tigers quickly, outscoring them 42-8 by halftime including holding them scoreless in the second quarter.

Navasota knocked off Sealy and Bellville to clinch an unblemished District 25-4A Championship. The sixth-ranked Lady Rattlers (30-3, 12-0) advance to the 4A Region 3 Bi-District round of the playoffs to battle the Sweeny Bulldogs (20-10, 6-5) Monday, Feb. 12, at Katy High School.
