On March 6 the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, FDA, issued a safety alert advising consumers not to buy or eat certain ground cinnamon products, including those sold at Dollar Tree and Family Dollar. Samples were found to contain elevated levels of lead and chromium. The FDA is advising consumers to throw away and not buy these ground cinnamon products:
