Several Grimes County Sheriff's Office Deputies and a GCSO dispatcher participated in the Sept. 11 Memorial Stair Climb at Kyle Field hosted by Bryan and College Station Fire Departments. GCSO walked alongside first responders from various other agencies. The climb began at 8:46 a.m., the time the first lower was struck and consisted of 110 flights to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives that day.
